Attempted Shoplifter Sought In Riverside

Greenwich police are on the lookout for a man who attempted to steal dozens of items from a local drug store.

The event happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at the CVS on East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich Police said.

Officers responding to the store said employees reported a black male, with at least one gold tooth, wearing red and black shoes and a "bubble-type" coat, dropped the merchandise on the floor when he was confronted by a store employee.
